Would you like to experience The Spirit of the Natural Adventure? That is our goal here at cavetubing.bz. My name is Vitalino Reyes, and I have been a Licensed Tour Guide in Belize since 1998 and have been actually doing tours since 1995. I would like for you to experience Belize as nature made her, as natural as possible.
My tour company is Vital Nature and Mayan Tours, Ltd., and we offer tours for almost all attractions on the mainland. We can provide tours to Maya sites including Tikal in Guatemala, The Belize Zoo, “the best little zoo in the world”, jungle walks, day and night, and almost anything on the mainland you are interested in.
Cave tubing is my specialty and my favorite.
Belize is one of the few places in the world to offer cave tubing, and it is the most popular tour available for cruise ship passengers. Many say the cave tubing tour with our company was the best tour on their whole cruise. And we want to stress that safety is high on our priority list for our cave tubing trips.
"To Hell and Back!"
One of the interesting things about cave tubing is found in Mayan mythology. The Mayas considered caves as the entrance to the underworld, called Xibalba. Roughly translated it means “Place of fear” and it was like their “hell”. So when you finish cave tubing you can say “I’ve been to hell and back!”
We hope the information you find on this website will answer most of the questions you may have about our company and our tours.
I’ll be happy to communicate and book you by email. Write to me at . Sometimes I call so send your name, your phone number, the date you plan to be in Belize, and I will give you a call. Or you can call me at 602-8975. From the US it is 011-501-602-8975. This is my cell and Whatsapp number, and I may be in the caves during the day so leave a message and a number.
Belize is always on Central Standard Time, we do not have daylight savings hours.
Note: Children must be at least 40 inches (101.6cm) tall to go on the Cave Tubing tour at the Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Site. If they are shorter than that, the alternative is River Tubing. It is the same river, same equipment, but they don’t enter the cave system.
